This week we caught up with Belvoir Park member Brian Harding who has been a keen golfer for the best part of 40 years.
Handicap: 13
Home club: Belvoir Park Golf Club
How long have you been playing: 39 years. I first played at Castlemaine, I hit two good balls and that was all it took to get me back on the course.
Clubs: Mizuno irons with a classic driver and a PING putter.
Favourite ball: Anything soft.
Favourite professional: I just love watching any of the professionals while they are playing well.
Favourite hole: In Scotland I once played a replica of the par-three 16th at Augusta. It was fantastic.
Favourite shot on the course: I used to be a good putter but not anymore and I need to improve my chipping, so let's put my worst shot down, chipping. Haha.
Best score: Mid-70s at Belvoir Park
Best golf memory: I've had a couple of hole-in-ones, one was on Belvoir's par-three 11th. But I also enjoyed travelling around Victoria playing different tournaments.
Current goal: To get my handicap as low as possible.
