The family of action movie icon Bruce Willis are celebrating the holidays together as his dementia reportedly worsens. The Die Hard star was surrounded by his three adult daughters to Demi Moore, Rumer, Tallulah and Scout, his wife Emma Heming-Willis and their two young children. The blended family moved into Willis' home to spend as much time with the actor as possible while he battles frontotemporal dementia, a source told US Weekly. He has "around-the-clock care" and "at least one family member is always with him". "Once Bruce was diagnosed, everyone came together to keep his memory of the family intact and to be there as a constant reminder [that they] love him. [Everything] revolves around him," they said. "They're all there all the time." His gradual decline means the family were "soaking up every moment they get with him". "This experience has brought the whole family even closer together. No one knows how much time Bruce has left," a source said. "Bruce has good days and bad days, but in the last two months, there are many more bad days than good." The family celebrated Thanksgiving together and his daughter Scout, 32, posted a video of Willis tenderly holding her hand. Frontotemporal dementia symptoms include unusual behaviors, emotional problems, trouble communicating and difficulty walking, according to the US National Institute on Ageing. Life expectancy was six to eight years, NIA said.
