Australian Emus have finished 10th overall at the 2021 FIBA Under-19 World Cup after suffering a narrow four-point defeat to Turkey in their last match on Monday morning.

Emus, which included Bendigo's Dyson Daniels, were ahead by one point with approximately one minute left on the clock.
However, Turkey's Yigit Onan dug deep with a series of two-pointers and a free-throw to put his side back in front, final scores 56-52 to finished 9th overall.
Daniels put nine points on the board with eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals.
USA triumphed in the championship match against France in a nail-biting two-point victory, 83-81.
Australia finished third in Group D, which included a win over Mali 97-67, a loss to Turkey 64-62 and a defeat from USA 66-87.
Just prior to the tournament, Daniels signed with G-League club Ignite in the United States.
Daniels plans to play one season with Ignite and then nominate for the 2022 NBA Draft.
