MULTIPLE driving offences were detected by police across Greater Bendigo in the space of three days as part of a road safety enforcement weekend.

Bendigo Highway Patrol's Geoff Annand said two drug-drivers were detected at the weekend.
Sergeant Annand said the first driver was intercepted on Golf Course Road in Ascot at 4.50pm on Friday.
He said a Golden Square woman was allegedly found to have cannabis and methenamine in her system after taking an oral fluid test.

Another driver was intercepted the next day in Laurel Street, Golden Square.
Sergeant Annand said the 20-year-old Mandurang South man was allegedly found with cannabis in his oral fluid test.
The man was intercepted on Saturday about 11.30pm.
Sergeant Annand said both offenders will be charged after the oral fluid samples are tested in Melbourne and they are waiting for the toxicology results.
The first installment of Operation Compass kicked off on Friday and will continue to run until 11:59pm on Tuesday, November 2.
The operation will then continue from 12.01am Friday, November 5 until 11.59pm on Sunday, November 7.
Over its first three days, Sergeant Annand said the highway patrol unit had completed 227 preliminary breath tests, six preliminary oral fluid tests and issued 55 penalty notices.
