Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing incident in Epsom on Tuesday night.

Bendigo Police Acting Senior Sergeant Anthony Kekich said the male was assaulted outside of his home around 11pm.
"The man went outside to lock his car when he noticed three males in his front yard," he said.
"They appeared to be trying to break into another vehicle."
Acting Senior Sergeant Kekich said the man tried to challenge the offenders.
He said the man was attacked and received a stab wound before fighting off the offenders.
The victim, a 31-year-old Epsom man, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
