PS Adelaide returned to the water over the Queen's Birthday long weekend and Campaspe Shire general manager of community Keith Oberin was thrilled to see the vessel operational again.
"The PS Adelaide is now back on the water, following four weeks of repair and maintenance, thanks to Murray River Marine Services," he said.
"She was carefully brought up onto land using the Moama Slipway, located opposite Echuca's recently refurbished Riverboat Dock Precinct.
"Up to 47 passengers can now experience the historic sights and sounds, with four cruises departing daily.
"It's exciting to see her back in action."

PS Adelaide was built in Echuca in 1866 by George Linklater.
The paddlesteamer received a number of refurbishments while on the Moama slipway including new guard rails installed, paddlewheel rim replacement, boiler works, painting including signage and damaged hull and deck timber replacement.
Echuca Moama Tourism chief executive Kathryn Mackenzie said the paddlesteamers continued to be a major tourist attraction for the region.

"We had quite a lot of visitors in town enjoying Echuca-Moama over the long weekend," she said. "We had the Adelaide out on the water for first time in a long time with good patronage.
"Echuca Paddlesteamers have been doing some much needed work to the vessel and it took to the waters on Saturday.
"To see the Canberra, Adelaide and Emmylou paddlesteamers of all different styles on the water was great. So many people watching them toot them horns, it really was exciting.
"It's living heritage and we're the paddlesteamer centre of the world."
