A MELBOURNE man has been busted for speeding twice in an hour, and another driver has been nabbed for drink driving during his second encounter with police on Good Friday.

A 70-year-old man received $1322 in fines and lost his licence for three months after returning a positive breath test at Inglewood.
Police had earlier stopped the man in Wedderburn for driving an unregistered vehicle, about 9.20am.
A 40-year-old Sunshine man lost his licence for three months and received $859 in fines in a separate series of encounters with police in the Loddon region.
Police initially detected a vehicle travelling at 71km/h along Bridgewater's main street - 21 kilometres above the speed limit - about 9.30pm on Good Friday.
The driver received a $322 fine and lost three demerit points.
Police clocked the same vehicle travelling at 134km/h on the Loddon Valley Highway at Durham Ox - 34 kilometres over the speed limit - about half an hour later.
The vehicle was towing a trailer.
The driver was further fined $537 and had his licence suspended for three months.
Police took to social media to urge people to drive safely during the Easter long weekend.
"Loddon police would like to remind the public that Operation Nexus is in full swing, so please, let's take a couple of big breaths, expect some minor delays on our roads and display patience," the Facebook post said.
"Victoria Police are out in force to ensure people get to their destination safely."
