But Miss Harrington wasn't making all these for herself alone.
She was maintaining an important link with the residents of a Bendigo nursing home, who she was unable to see.
For Miss Harrington dropping off the little gifts at Mercy Health gave her something to do, often the only reason to leave the house.
The items were just little things to brighten the residents days and distract them from the situation, she said.
She knows it made a huge difference to the home's residents.

When Miss Harrington was able to return to visit, residents said they had missed her.
It's Miss Harrington's third year volunteering at the home, which she began after retiring from preschool teaching.
She's one of thousands of volunteers across Bendigo marking International Volunteer Day on Saturday December 5.
Miss Harrington said it was great to return after COVID-19 restrictions eased.
