BENDIGO LEAGUE
Strathfieldsaye and Sandhurst jumped into the BFNL top three after an eventful round of Addy-iso footy.
After losing narrowly to top side Golden Square last week, Sandhurst bounced back to edge out Eaglehawk by three points in a thriller.
Strathfieldsaye outclassed Kangaroo Flat to improve its record to 5-1.
Golden Square made it six wins from as many games when its proved too strong for Gisborne in the battle of the Bulldogs.
The 15.13 (103) to 12.12 (84) result saw Gisborne slip from second to fourth on the ladder. Eaglehawk dropped from third to fifth.
At the bottom of the table, Castlemaine outlasted Kyneton by seven points to leave the Tigers as the only team without a win.

Mount Pleasant celebrated its first win of the season in the HDFNL.
The Blues clung on to defeat Huntly by two points to move off the bottom of the ladder.
At the oiher end of the ladder, North Bendigo and Lockington-Bamawm United remain unbeaten.
The Bulldogs sit in second place with a 5-0 record after disposing of Leitchville-Gunbower by 32 points.
The top-of-the-table Cats saw off a plucky Heathcote side by 28 points.
In the final game of the round, White Hills moved into third spot after defeating Elmore by 29 points.

Mitiamo celebrated its first win of the year in thrilling fashion.
The Superoos edged out Maiden Gully YCW by five points and in the process inflicted the Eagles' sixth-straight defeat.
Calivil United jumped Newbridge into fourth spot after it beat the Maroons by 10 points in an enteraining clash.
The Demons are now just percentage outside of the top three.

In the closest match of the round, Donald defeated Boort by three points to stay in touch with the top four.
