BOOK FAIR
The Friends of the Bendigo Gallery are holding a book fair.
So it’s time to clear out your bookshelves and consider donating those quality books that you no longer need.
Books can be left at the rear of 14 Harkness Street, Quarry Hill, preferably sorted and boxed.
If you need someone to collect your donation please contact George on 5443 4193 or Dale on 5441 6009.
All funds raised from this book fair will go towards the monthly art and tea event held at the Latrobe Art Institute.
Funds will also go to the Friends Art Bursaries that are presented to Year 11 students studying art and media.
Where: Gallery Forecourt, View Street, Bendigo.
When: Saturday, November 17, 10am – 3.30pm.

NEWSTEAD CFA MARKET
Come along, unearth some treasures and pick up a bargain.
With funds raised go to help support the Newstead and District Fire Brigade, this event is a great way to support keeping the community safe.
The day features a BBQ, hot and cold drinks and a selection of homemade cakes, slices and biscuits.
Brigade members are available to answer your fire safety questions and help you with fire preparation.
Stallholders are welcome. No need to book ahead, just turn up on the day with your goods to sell.

RIDDELLS CREEK FARMERS’ MARKET
This farmers’ market is an accredited market with a focus on sustainability.
If you’re searching for sourdough or feeling like fresh meats, then this market is for you.
Fresh vegetables, fresh food and a range of local stall-holders will be on offer to tempt you.
Please note this market is plastic bag free.
Where: Riddells Creek Primary School, 67 Gisborne-Kilmore Road, Riddells Creek.
When: Saturday, November 17, 9am – 1pm.
TROVE MARKET
With only five weeks to Christmas it’s a perfect time to find some unique goodies at the Trove Market.
Head along and explore quirky stalls, great food, coffee and bread from The Good Loaf and live music.
Where: The Good Loaf Sourdough Bakery and Cafe, Hargreaves Street.
When: Sunday, November 18, 10am – 2pm.
MIDWEEK FARMERS’ MARKET
The Bendigo Farmers’ Market will be hosting their first midweek market, just in time for you to purchase all you need for a Christmas feast.
The new midweek market will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month (except December, in which it will be held on Thursday before Christmas – December 20).
Just like the Saturday market, there will be the usual favourite producers (and a few new ones as well) showcasing their quality seasonal goods.
Where: Sidney Myer Place, Pall Mall, Bendigo.
When: Thursday, November 22, 3pm – 6pm.
