The string of doughnut days will give Victorians hope that the state government could announce a further easing of restrictions today or tomorrow.
On Sunday, health minister Martin Foley said Victorians would likely have to wait until closer to the end of school holidays for eased restrictions.
Other news:
The recent data from the Department of Health said 15,784 vaccine doses were administered on Tuesday and 27,498 test results were received.
Victoria's active case tally stands at 24.
Parts of NSW and Queensland also remain COVID-19 red zones, meaning any returning Victorian must apply for a permit to enter and isolate for 14 days.
