The Victorian storms caused extensive damage and loss of power across the Trentham community which led to access issues to the water treatment plant.
There was also significant work to locate and repair a burst water main.
The 'do not drink' advice for Trentham was issued in consultation with the Department of Health at 7pm on Thursday, June 10, and lifted at 6pm on Saturday, June 12.
Coliban Water staff worked with the Emergency Relief Centre to door knock, provide information and distribute bottled water to residents and saw first-hand the resilience and determination of the Trentham community to re-open the town.
Staff will work with representatives from Trentham to determine which community project will receive the grant.
More details will become available once the grant has been awarded via coliban.com.au.
