Sharni Bryant, 28, appeared in the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Thursday after she pleaded guilty to charges of trafficking and possessing a drug of dependence.
Bryant was one of five people charged following a raid on a Murphy Street property on April 14.
During the raid, officers found drugs including methamphetamine and cannabis, used digital scales, a box of 100 individual syringes, and $1156.90 in cash.
Police also seized two mobile phones, one of which belonged to Bryant, and a digital safe. The court heard Bryant refused to provide her phone's passcode to police.
The 28-year-old told officers she was using the cash found at the property to pay for her unregistered car and vet bills.
Bryant also told police she used the syringes to administer medicine to her dog.
Defence lawyer Robert Southgate told the court Bryant had been assessed as suitable for a community corrections order.
Mr Southgate said Bryant had been "reasonably candid" with the corrections assessor, and she knew it was her last opportunity to receive support from the court.
Magistrate Sharon McRae said Bryant's prior convictions were "particularly unimpressive", and it was clear Bryant had long-term problems with drug use and drug trafficking.
But Ms McRae said the court needed to try something to stop Bryant's pattern of behaviour.
"The community is destroyed by drug traffickers like you," the magistrate said. "This is your opportunity. If you don't take it up, I would be concerned that you won't get out of this rut."
Bryant was convicted and jailed for nine months, with 58 days reckoned as already served.
She was also ordered to complete a 12-month community corrections order when released from custody. The order will include drug treatment programs and judicial monitoring.
