It is now in the running for a national award.
'We have a dedicated team of managers and staff who deliver a high level of service and quality products for our customers," store manager Tom Ryan said.
Customer satisfaction ratings remained high at the store, IGA said, despite the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Long Gully store also won the meat department award, while Heathcote's IGA was recognised for its innovation.
"I would like to thank our staff for their ongoing commitment," Champions IGA chief executive Michael Zervakis said.
The national finals are due to be held in July. International awards will be announced later this year.
