The clinic will be run two doctors who are already practicing in nearby Marong, with another starting soon.
Doctors Aisha Neelam and Sajjad Muhammad say they set up the clinic in response to growing need in the area, as the community grew.
Other news:
Dr Muhammad said many Maiden Gully residents were travelling to Marong for general practice treatment, so it would be easier for them to have a local practice.
Dr Neelam said a local clinic would be really convenient for both elderly residents of Maiden Gully and the growing number of young families.
"[Community members] get quality healthcare ... at their doorstep and they don't have to go all to Marong or Golden Square," she said.
Dr Neelam said the clinic would offer all the normal GP services, but the doctors also had interests in women's health, diabetes and skin cancer.
She said the clinic hoped to also offer allied health services, with a psychologist starting once a week and a pathologist on site.
She said the clinic hoped to attract allied health staff such as a physiotherapist, diabetes educator and podiatrist.
The Maiden Gully Medical Practice is a mixed billing clinic. It will open on January 11.
