The cycling action continued on day two of the Bendigo and District Cycling Club's Tack Christmas Carnival.

Juniors were the first on the track at the Tom Flood Sport Centre for a busy morning which included several different events.
First up were a series of age group wheelrace heats, followed by the M17 Scratch Championship heats, moto pace events and scratch races just to name a few.
In the M17 State Scratch Race Championship Final it was Brunswick Cycling Club member Eddie Jirovec who secured the victory, followed by Jamie Radford in second (Blackburn Cycling Club) and Nate Hadden in third (Bendigo).
The juniors wrapped up in the afternoon before the carnival went on pause until 6pm when the seniors returned to the track.
Tuesday night's senior racing included men's and women's moto pace events,handicap events, scratch races and several wheelraces.
The feature event of the night was the Lindsay Harrington Memorial, other key races included the Men's Victorian Moto Paced Championship and the Godfrey Family's Women's Omnium.
On the first day of the carnival seven men's teams competed in the 80-lap Madison event.
A Braeden Dean-Pat Eddy pairing secured 46 points to occupy the top step of the podium, followed by brothers Isaac and Sam Buckell in second with 38 points, while Henry Dietze and Jonathan Marr came third on 24.

Also held on day one of the Christmas Carnival on Monday was the W17 State Scratch Race Championships Final.
Bendigo District Cycling Club member Belinda Bailey secured the top spot on the podium, followed by Haylee Jack (Bendigo) in second, Alana Hribar (Carnegie Caulfield Cycling Club) in third and Ava Giramondo (Brunswick Cycling Club) in fourth.
