Mildura's Justin and Kayla Hamence have welcomed their newest child early following an emergency airlift south for the delivery of Baby Noah at 32 weeks and four days.
"Once we got here it was good because we knew we were going to be taken care of," Justin said.
More news:
This is not the first time the Hamences have dealt with a baby in a rush to enter the world. Their oldest daughter arrived in her 32nd week in Mildura and was airlifted to a Melbourne hospital.
In another coincidence, Hamence's oldest child was born on Valentines Day.
The couple have no plans at this stage for more babies born on other significant calendar dates, like Easter.
Noah is healthy but will remain in Bendigo Health's neonatal intensive care unit for some time before he is transferred back to Mildura, where he is expected to remain in hospital for another week before he heads home.
Noah is one of four Christmas Day babies born at Bendigo Hospital this year.
