There remain eight active COVID-19 cases in Greater Bendgio, Premier Daniel Andrews announced on Wednesday morning.
Case numbers in regional areas continues to decrease, with 125 active cases across all regional local government areas under stage three restrictions.
"That number continues to fall and is very pleasing," Mr Andrews said.

"We have always made a priority of trying to drive the number of regional areas as low as possible, to keep the case numbers and virus experience very different to metropolitan Melbourne."
Chief Health Officer Professor Brett Sutton said it is pleasing to see three consecutive days of new cases below triple figures.
"There are very few new cases arising in regional local government areas," Professor Sutton said.
Victoria's State of Disaster will continue for at least another 11 days and has been brought in line with the existing State of Emergency Declaration.
Both are set to expire at 11.59pm on September 13.
"They are now aligned and they need to be renewed on September 13 and we will have more to say about that on Sunday," Mr Andrews said.
The Premier said he will be releasing the detail of Victoria's roadmap out of restrictions on Sunday.
The State of Disaster is the legal mechanism that allows authorities to impose a curfew in metropolitan Melbourne and the five kilometre limit for exercise and shopping and cannot be extended in blocks longer than one month.
"If a party was going on in a house, it gives powers for police to enter and deal with those issues," Mr Andrews said.
"We've seen how quickly this virus can spread. Continuing the State of Disaster will give us the tools we need to keep enforcing the rules that are keeping Victorians safe."
There are 406 people in Victorian hospitals receiving treatment for COVID-19, with 18 of those in intensive care.
Earlier
VICTORIA has recorded 90 new cases and six deaths overnight.
It is an increase on previous days this week, when 71 and 73 cases were recorded.
The figure is still well down on the hundreds of daily cases the state recorded every day before the second wave of infections began tailing off.
More news:
The Department of Health and Human Services expects to release more information about the latest statistics later today.
Greater Bendigo yesterday recorded one extra COVID-19 case but the number of people with active cases has fallen again.
Bendigo Health yesterday urged people who have putt off hospital visits not to fear infection at its facility.
Numbers have dropped at the group's emergency department since the second wave arrived in Bendigo, heightening risks that health problems would not be dealt with quickly enough, chief executive Peter Faulkner said.
He said the fact that no COVID-19 patients treated at the hospital had infected other patients or staff was evidence of this.
Also on Tuesday, the state government revealed Victoria would have two reopening plans to guide people out of stage three and four restrictions.
One would be for regional Victoria, the other for Melbourne.
The state government expects to release its reopening roadmap on Sunday.
