Herbert is teeing up in his fourth career major tournament, the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco.
He will again test himself against the sport's best, including WGC St Jude Invitational winner and world number one Justin Thomas.

Herbert will tee up in round one off the tenth alongside Judd Gibb (US) and Mark Hubbard (US) at 7.26AM AEST on Friday morning.
Other Australians in the mix include Marc Leishman, Adam Scott, Jason Day, Matt Jones and Cameron Smith.
After a T49 finish last week at the WGC St Jude Invitational Herbert is now ranked 72nd in the world.
He has aspirations to secure a tour card on the PGA Tour, so no doubt he will be firing on all cylinders to finish as far up the leaderboard as possible.
Victory at the event secures the winner entry into all major tournaments for the next five years in addition to a PGA Tour card for the next five years.
