A DRIVER travelling 54 kilometres per hour above the speed limit has been caught, as Kyneton police patrol the Macedon Ranges for COVID-19 breaches.

In two weeks worth of patrols police suspended the licenses of four drivers caught speeding.
These included a black Holden found travelling at 139 kilometres per hour in a 100 zone on Trentham Road, Kyneton.
The driver received a $620 fine and a six month suspension.

Another vehicle was found travelling southbound on the Calder Freeway near Gisborne at 133 kilometres per hour.
The driver of this car received a $330 fine and a three month suspension.
A white four wheel drive was detected travelling at 144 kilometres per hour in a 90 zone on Black Forest Drive in Macedon.
This driver received a $826 fine and a 12 month suspension.
Another driver was found travelling 93 kilometres per hour in a 60 zone, receiving a $537 fine with a three month suspension.
