The severe weather warning may affect Mount Macedon.
Bendigo residents can expect a high chance of rain with the chance of a thunderstorm on Friday night.
On Saturday Bendigo has a very high chance of up to 15 millimetres rain.

The severe weather warning are stretches from Daylesford north east to Falls Creek, taking in parts of the Macedon Ranges.
The Bureau has warned of damaging northerly winds averaging 55 to 65 kilometres per hour within the warning area. Peak gusts may reach 90 kilometres per hour.
The State Emergency Services has warned people to be aware that trees damaged by heat or fire may be unstable and more likely to fall when it is windy or wet.
The SES has urged people to check loose outdoor items are safety secured, and move vehicles under cover or away from trees.
People are advised to stay indoors and away from windows.
If outdoors people should move indoors, staying away from trees, drains, gutters, creeks and waterways.
If driving conditions are dangerous, drivers should pull over safely, away from trees, drains, low-lying areas and floodwater.
People should stay away from fallen powerlines, and always assume they are live.
