About 850 customers in Golden Triangle, Golden Square, Golden Gully and Quarry Hill will be affected between 9am and 4pm.
The works involve installation of technology to limit bushfire risk from powerline faults.
OTHER NEWS:
Powercor will install Rapid Earth Fault Current Limiter devices at two electrical stations to function like a safety switch if a powerline comes into contact with ground or tree limbs.
Other customers in Bendigo will be subject to further planned outages as installation takes place over the coming months.
