The tour was scheduled to reach Bendigo in November, with performances planned for the Ulumbarra Theatre from November 3-4.
Organisers intend to re-schedule the tour so that it starts later in the year.
Many performances had sold out. There were still tickets available for Bendigo.
Organisers have asked that all ticket holders retain their tickets while the new arrangements were made.
"Tickets already purchased are guaranteed and will be transferrable to the new dates," they said in a statement.
"All ticket holders will be contacted directly by either the venue or ticketing agency with further information and we will post updates on the Bluey's Big Play website as soon as we have more details."
