Pool president Sam Kane said the organisation would launch its 2020-2024 Strategic Plan in the coming weeks.
"We're looking at different areas on how to make the pool more sustainable for the future," Mr Kane said.
"We're looking at heaps of different projects, covering community program initiatives to infrastructure works to ensure the pool remains safe for users.
"We want to ensure the pool is in the best shape for the long term."
Mr Kane said the organisation would investigate heated water options and new cleaning systems as part of the strategic plan.
It comes as the pool celebrated its 100,000th patron at the weekend, seven years after it was saved from being closed down.
"We're absolutely thrilled," Mr Kane said. "It really shows to our volunteers that the pool does mean a lot to the community.
"Saving it all has been worth it and we're really positive about what the future can hold for our pool."
More than 18,700 people used the pool last year, with 100 new members and 40 volunteers joining the organisation.
There was a set back last month when an electrical fire damaged the pool's main storage area, but Mr Kane said it hadn't hindered patrons.
"Our volunteers recovered really well," Mr Kane said. "We've had temporary operations and a new way of doing things, which the community and patrons have responded to really well."
Mr Kane said the pool would be open to the public until the Labour Day weekend in March.
