This year's event at Tom Flood Sports Centre will see 14 teams give it their all over the 200-lap race.
Bendigo International Madison committee secretary Rik McCaig said a quality field was in the place.
"I'm very happy with where we are at this stage with only one more team to fill," McCaig said.
" I am knocking back more people than I am accepting."

Due to Olympic commitments, 2019 winning duo Sam Welsford and Kell O'Brien in addition to other Australian Team Pursuit members will not be in attendance.
However, McCaig has been inundated with entries from world-class riders and local Victorian stars.
"Among the riders will be the Eddy brothers Patrick and Sam, Blake Agnoletto, Isaac Buckell and Brendan Schultz," he said.
"It will be great to see Isaac riding with Brendan.
"Isaac has been riding in the Madison for a few years now and what he has lacked is having a partner with experience and Brendan certainly brings that for him.
"I am certain we will see really good things from the both of them once they hit the track."
Buckell will head in to the Madison after strong victories at the Bendigo and District Cycling Club's Christmas Carnival and the 3000m Caps Cup.
"The Madison is one of the hardest races of the year with a lot of quick riders from overseas and the Australian Academy," Buckell said.
"Without the Olympic squad in the mix it might bring down the speed a little bit, but it's still sure to be a super hard and fast race."

Buckell was thrilled to be riding alongside Bendigo veteran cyclist in Schultz.
"He has done a few Madisons before and he's a bit of a veteran, it's a great opportunity to learn from someone who has such great experience.
"He is also a Bendigo boy so it should get the crowd behind us.
"In the lead-up to the race we will be sure to train and work closely together up at the track."
This year there has been an increase of international interest in the Madison, with German and Japanese riders set to race.
The three-day Madison carnival will be held from Friday March 6 to Sunday March 8.
