Schultz topped a small five-rider field in Sunday’s 30-minute and three-lap race at Huntly.
It took 20 minutes for Schultz to separate himself from the bunch, with only Connor Sens up to the chase.
Luke Knox finished third, ahead of Steve Rooney and Connor McCaig.
In B-grade, Emerson Julian prevailed in a 25-minutes and three-lap race ahead of Harry Nankervis, Syd Anstee and Olivia Sens.
This Thursday the club hosts its Giant Bendigo 2000m wheelrace, with the final of the Bendigo Audi champion of champions 1600m wheelrace to follow on March 1.
For junior riders, the criterium series resumes tonight at the go-kart track at Maiden Gully.
Racing starts at 6.30pm, with entries required by 6pm.
The series continues each Tuesday night until March 27.
