THE holder of the Emu Valley Cricket Association's record score also doubles as the player who has made the competition's most runs over the past decade.
Veteran Marong keeper-batsman Scott Ross tops the EVCA's runs aggregate for the decade that stretches from the 2009-10 season to 2018-19.
Ross amassed 3660 runs across the decade for the Panthers from his 117 innings at an average of 32.97.
Among Ross' four centuries for the decade was his record-setting day against Spring Gully in round five of 2012-13 when he smashed an unbeaten 283 in Marong's monster score of 8-467.
The batsman with the most centuries for the decade was hard-hitting Mandurang opener Matt Giri, who blasted 10 tons, which included three in as many games during the 2015-16 season - 135 v Emu Creek, followed by 150 against Marong and 153 not out against Axe Creek.
Giri ranked second on the list of leading run-scorers for the decade with 3377 at an average of 52.77.
However, Giri's average is surpassed by Matt Dwyer's 55.88.
Dwyer cracked 3297 runs from 67 innings with eight not outs throughout the decade for Sedgwick and West Bendigo, including nine centuries.
One of Dwyer's centuries was just shy of Ross' record score when he made 271 for the Rams against his former side West Bendigo in round six of 2016-17.
Dwyer sits at No.5 on the EVCA's list of the decade's top run-scorers.
In third position behind Ross and Giri is United's Alex Collins (3376) followed by West Bendigo's Travis O'Connell (3301).
Having topped the decade's wicket tally with 198, Emu Creek and Sedgwick's Simon Marwood also had a productive 10 seasons with the bat, with his 3255 runs ranked No.6.
In total 716 players scored at least one division one run for the decade, while there were 155 centuries made led by Giri (10), Dwyer (9), Collins (6), Shaun Makepeace (6), Rhys Webb (6), O'Connell (5), Shane Hamilton (5) and Joel Bish (5).
There were 63 players who scored at least 1000 runs.
