Police investigate after man dies in Echuca

Investigators said the 74-year-old was believed to have been injured during an incident at a hospital in Echuca on November 29.

The Echuca man underwent surgery, but yesterday died.

"The exact cause of his death is yet to be determined at this stage," police said in a statement.

"As the investigations remain ongoing it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage."
