The person accused of the murder of a Daltons Bridge man has appeared in court. Daniel Oberin, 28, appeared at the Bendigo Magistrates' Court via video link for a brief filing hearing on Monday. He was charged on Friday, September 13 with the murder of a 29-year-old man, who died in Daltons Bridge that morning. Paramedics attended an address on Eastons Road shortly after 6am where they found the man with life-threatening injuries but despite efforts to revive him, he died at the scene. Members of both the deceased man's family and Mr Oberin's family were in court for the hearing. Mr Oberin was remanded in custody to appear for a committal mention next January.
