
UPDATE, TUESDAY: A 16-year-old boy is still fighting for life after a crash on the Pyrenees Highway between Maryborough and Avoca at the weekend.
The teen remains in a critical but stable condition in The Alfred hospital in Melbourne.
He was one of three people injured in the single-vehicle crash, which occurred just before 11.30pm on Saturday at Bung Bong.
Two other men, both from Maryborough, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

SUNDAY: A 16-year-old Maryborough teen suffered life threatening injuries in a single vehicle crash in Bung Bong on Saturday night.
The driver of the car aged in his 30s and a Maryborough man in his 20s were also taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the vehicle was travelling east on the Pyrenees Highway when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree just before 11.30pm.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives were expected to assess the scene.
The Pyreenees Highway is closed between Maryborough and Avoca while detectives examine the scene.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
