WODONGA Raiders and star midfielder Brodie Filo are set to part company.
Although both parties were remaining tight-lipped on Tuesday, it's believed Raiders have made the decision to sever ties with its best player after two-and-a-half seasons.
The playing group was on Tuesday night informed that Filo would not be selected to play Lavington this weekend.
It is believed Filo's failure to meet off-field obligations including training commitments led to the Raiders dropping the bombshell.
The Morris medallist is believed to be keen to return to his home town Bendigo where he previously played for Eaglehawk. His father Derrick, and his uncle Shawn, co-coach BFNL club Castlemaine.

It is unlikely that the Raiders will clear him before the June 30 deadline.
Filo is regarded among the best three players in the Ovens and Murray.
Filo and the Raiders were asked for a written apology for the star player's drunken conduct on Morris Medal night last year.
Ovens and Murray officials were left red-faced when Filo jumped from the stage after being presented with his medal and then tripped and fell near invited guests and sponsors on his return to his table.
He played in a premiership for Nightcliff in the Northern Territory before returning to Raiders this year.
