Bendigo Braves men has signed Mathiang Muo for the remainder of the 2019 NBL1 season.
Muo comes to the Braves well experienced, having played with the 2018 SEABL Championship winning Hobart Chargers.
During the season he averaged 18.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and finished within the top five in the league with 59 made three-point attempts.
"Mathiang is a quality player, who performs very well at both ends of the floor," Braves coach David Hogan said.
"He scored double figures on 14 or 18 occasions last season and helped out big on the boards so he will add considerable depth to our roster."
Hogan said has worked "behind the scenes" for months to secure Muo.
"The new league (NBL1) has certainly attracted the interest of most agents and players in Australia, but in this case patience has most definitely paid off," Hogan said.
Muo had signed with the Southern Huskies in the New Zealand NBL, but was unable to remain on the roster due to league regulations.
