Corbett shot a score of 398.57 to win the Target Rifle A class at the Victorian Rifle Association's Queen's Prize, in front of Explorers Rifle Club's Scott Brindley (398.51) and Bendigo's Geoff Grenfell (398.46).

Grenfell had a strong performance over the course of the five-day event, taking out both the Perc Pavey Grand Aggregate with a score of 698.81 and the Syme Aggregate 300.35.
Other Queen's Prize winners include Brisbane Rifle Club's Frans Knox 466.32 (F/TR), Canberra Rifle Club's Dave Phipps (F Standard) 468.32 and Cessnock Rifle Club's Rod Davies (F Open) 477.48.
A highlight of the tournament was 13-year-old Liana Gaebele from Lilydale Rifle Club participating in her first Queen's Prize, who was given a few helpful tips from Kevin Armstrong, 91, from the Fitzroy/Caulfied Rifle Clubs who attends the competition every year.
The event was held at the Wellsford Rifle Range and was an official Victorian Rifle Association event.
