Lloyd’s return to the Braves comes after finishing his second season as a development player with the NBL Illawarra Hawks.
“Lloydy is a fierce competitor and he loves to win,” Braves coach David Hogan said.
“His two years with Illawarra have really helped him develop his skills and I’m certain he will be a headache for other teams at both ends of the floor.”
Lloyd has years of experience with the Braves, starting as a junior, through to Big V and three seasons as a fringe player for the senior Braves.
Lloyd has been considered to be one of the “key signings” for the 2019 Braves team.
“I’m not sure about the key signing part, but I will absolutely be returning to play my role and help the team any way that I can,” Lloyd said.
“Getting to play for DJ (Hogan) is something I’m really looking forward to because we have played and trained a lot together and I really respect his leadership.”
Ray Turner has also been announced to return to the court with the Braves in 2019.
