That’s the question the organisers of a series of events are asking people in Bendigo.
Make A Change Australia launched its community engagement campaign last week, reaching out to people at the city’s libraries, at the Kangaroo Flat Men’s Shed, and at businesses over a cupcake.
People were encouraged to further develop their ideas at the upcoming Outside the Square and Inspiration Cafe events.
The first, Creating Our Future, is scheduled for September 21 at the La Trobe University Bendigo campus.
The forum will invite people to consider where the community is headed and whether it has everything it need to achieve its goals.
A second gathering, Future Movers, has been arranged for October 26 at the La Trobe Art Institute at View Street.
Transportation will be the focus of the event, which is promoted as “a gathering to encourage new ways of thinking on travelling for work, school and play.”
Both forums will run from 6:45pm to 9:30pm, and are free of charge.
Sustainability, inclusiveness and community resilience have inspired previous events.
