A family nature club will take a journey back in time this Sunday when it explores the prehistoric continent Australia was formed out of.

The Bendigo Family Nature Club plan to discover fossils and uncover the region’s ancient asteroid strikes.
It is not the first trip the group has taken children out into the wild.
Junior explorers could take up to ten activities every year, all of which were coordinate by BFNC volunteers.
Earlier this year the group took children out to the Harcourt Oak Forest, where they learnt about different types of fungi.
The group’s mantra was to connect with nature via science, art and play.
Places for the coming weekend’s trip were limited.
