SOCIAL media exploded with approval on Wednesday when Groovin the Moo unveiled the line-up for this year's festival.
Musical acts including Dizzee Rascal, Vance Joy, Disclosure, The Jungle Giants and The Presets seemed to be the most popular.
Karnivool and Birds of Tokyo frontman Ian Kenny also weighed in saying he was excited to see some of the acts.
"The one band I am really keen to see, because I love the records they put out, is Violent Soho," Kenny said.
"Their song Covered in Chrome is just a kick ass song.
"I've seen them play once before maybe three years ago. They were a good band then and I think now with a record under their belt they'll be even better."
GTM organiser and promoter Stephen Halpin said he was pleasantly surprised at how well the line-up had been received.
"We were confident the line-up was good but you never know until you put it out there," he said.
"A name like Dizzee Rascal is always exciting (to see on the line-up). He's iconic and a superstar."
Halpin also said he was excited to see Disclosure and Vance Joy.
"(Vance Joy) is about to become a big star in his own right.
"We had been following him for a while, there was a lot of interest in his EP and he got a great reaction at Splendour.
"It was quite clear that people were starting to discover him and we are excited to have him on our line-up. It's a bit similar to Flume last year"
In previous years the Bendigo GTM has sold out in a matter of days.
"It would be great if it (sold out) and the earlier the better, but I don’t like to count my chickens," Halpin said.
"The signs (of the festival selling out) are there. The line-up has been well received and people had a good time last year."
Tickets for the Bendigo leg of Groovin the Moo are $99.90 and go on sale on Tuesday, February 4, from 9am.
