A STRATHDALE man has been charged following a series of burglaries and thefts in Bendigo and Kyneton over December and January.

Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives executed a search warrant at a Strathdale address on Thursday and arrested a 34-year-old man.

Police also seized a large number of allegedly stolen items including computer devices, car keys, identification cards, clothing and mobile phones.
The Strathdale man was charged with a number of offences including burglary, theft, theft from motor vehicle, criminal damage, handle stolen goods and bail offences.
Police allege the man was behind burglary and thefts at a medical centre on McIvor Road, Strathdale on December 25, 27 and 29.
The alleged burglary and theft at a medical centre on Condon Street, Strathdale on 28 December, theft from a vehicle and attempt obtain property by deception between 5pm on December 25 and 6.35am on December 29.
Police allege the man was behind a burglary and theft at a gaming venue on Park Street in Strathdale on December 31, a burglary, theft and theft of car at a business on Charleston Road, Bendigo East on January 15 and also another burglary, theft, theft of car and criminal damage at a business on Bourke Street in Kyneton on January 18.
Police allege the man attempted a burglary at a business on Edward Road, Kennington on January 18 and also a burglary at a business on Condon Street, Strathdale on January 19.
The man was remanded to appear before the Echuca Magistrates' Court today.
