GREATER Bendigo has recorded 46 new COVID-19 cases overnight as police move in on protesters in Canberra.
The municipality now has 412 total active cases after four consecutive days of falls from 623 cases.
Greater Bendigo's cases included 15 found in Bendigo's 3550 postcode, 19 within the regional 3551, 5 in Kangaroo Flat's 3555, and 4 in Eaglehawk's 3556.
Elsewhere in the region, Kyneton's Macedon Ranges Shire recorded 11 new cases and Castlemaine's Mount Alexander Shire had only 1.
Echuca's Campaspe Shire recorded 2, the Loddon Shire 2, Maryborough's Central Goldfields 1 and Gannawarra 2.
This comes as ACT Police have started removing tents from an illegal anti-vaccine mandate protest.
Police issued a warning at 7:30am this morning that illegal camping equipment and illegally parked vehicles would be removed from the site, and items not moved could be seized by police.
Protesters are part of an international Millions March Against Mandatory Vaccination movement and are planning to stay in the capital until February 8, when parliament returns.

What's making news?
It comes as Greater Bendigo's COVID-19 response received more praise as it hit another vaccination milestone on Thursday.
Bendigo Health said 50 per cent of eligible residents in the region had received their third dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, prompting a visit from a state health official.
More news:
COVID-19 commander Jeroen Weimar travelled to Bendigo Health's Mollison Street vaccination clinic on Thursday morning and said he was impressed with the set up.
Also on Thursday, the Royal Freemasons Flora Hill aged care home was been found non-compliant on quality and safety standards, with assessors citing a range of issues such as medication errors and staff shortages.
The facility was declared non-compliant after an Assessment contact Performance Report in September in key areas of personal care, clinical care, human resources and organisational governance.
Staff from the Freemasons Flora Hill aged care facility this week sounded the alarm on the ongoing conditions for staff and residents, telling the Bendigo Advertiser they believed the situation was 'worsening by the day and little was being done to fix it'.
