The Epsom trio will begin prep at St Kilian's Primary School, joining their older sister Alexys who has been a student there for the past couple of years.
Their dad, Matt Higgins said having an older sibling at the school may have given the triplets a bit of advantage over their peers - as they got to listen in to her remote learning classes last year.
"Alexys created a small classroom space at home during the lockdowns and would teach the triplets after she did her online learning," he said.
"She taught them about the phonics system the school uses to teach reading and some math as well. Her friends have little brothers and sisters who are starting prep this year too - so the triplets already know some of their classmates."
Mr Higgins said it was far easier to tell the triplets apart than it was to know which lunchbox belonged to each child.
"We've been doing a lot of shopping and uniform fittings lately,'' he said.
"We need three of everything but we always try to buy slightly different versions of each one - like containers and water bottles - so we can tell whose is whose.
"But right now they're just very excited to go to school," he said.
