A bushfire is burning in Leaghur state park, north east of Miatiamo.
A spokesman for Fire Forest Management Victoria said there are multiple tankers and helicopters on scene trying to contain the blaze.
The fire is approximately 52 hectares in size and is being managed by the Department of Environment Land Water and Planning (DELWP) who are being supported by the CFA.
The department has taken over as the blaze is burning on public land in the national park.
The bushfire is believed to have been started by lightning.
Crews will remain on scene and hoping to have the fire contained this evening.

TEN vehicles and air support are responding to a bushfire in Leaghur.
The blaze is burning along Loddon River Road in Appin South.
The fire is approximately 50 hectares in size and is not yet under control.
CFA are supporting DELWP to try and contain the blaze
An out control bushfire is also burning nearby in Barham.
At this stage it is unclear if there is property damaged.
