Greater Bendigo has seen 62 new cases. It means Greater Bendigo has now seen 4925 cases in total since the beginning of the pandemic.
The new daily cases are a decrease from the 105 COVID cases recorded in Bendigo on Thursday.
Greater Bendigo's active cases have also decreased again from 863 on Wednesday to 833 on Thursday and, as of Friday morning, stand at 771.
Elsewhere in central Victoria new coronavirus cases were found in Macedon Ranges (32), Campaspe (20), Mount Alexander (5) and Loddon (2) shires.
Buloke, Gannawarra and Central Goldfields shires each recorded a single case in the last 24 hours.
Earlier
Victoria recorded another 12,755 new COVID-19 cases overnight.
The new infections were detected from 7,410 at-home rapid antigen tests and 5,345 laboratory-run PCR tests.

A total of 988 people were in hospital on Thursday, 114 in intensive care and 39 on ventilators.
Another 23,252 received a vaccine dose, taking the total amount of eligible people to receive their third dose to 35 per cent.
Sadly, another 39 people have died from the virus and its complications, according to Department of Health statistics.
Greater Bendigo had a total of 833 active cases on Wednesday, with fresh numbers for Thursday expected later on Friday.
