Owners Justin McPhail and Nick Horgan started the business in 2016 before establishing burger bar Hustlers in 2019.
Since then, both restaurants have grown rapidly with Hustler moving from its home in Lyttleton Terrace to a bigger space in the Bendigo Bank Central hub.
Flight Bar then moved from its Abbott Arcade space to the Lyttleton Terrace location.
"When we setup we didn't understand how big it would grow," Mr McPhail said. "We put it up for sale to free up some headspace to focus on the businesses that operate in Hustler including Franks."
Frank's Bendigo is a bodega-style business that operates in Hustler and offers coffee, sweet treats and Hustler takeaway.
"We are operating Hustler, Frank's, the takeaway and functions and our off-site catering is starting up again," Mr McPhail said. "So (selling Flight) is more about time management for ourselves.
"It wasn't an easy decision, it's just the way it is going. We need to focus on Hustler."
Mr McPhail whoever decided to buy Flight would be getting a well-established business.
"They're walking into a job," he said. "They're taking on our share plus if they wanted to work there, they could take an extra wage.
"We've got a good crew there. COVID didn't really impact us at all because we easily switched to takeway and it worked out well."
Other hospitality businesses listed for sale in Bendigo include iconic steak restaurant The Woodhouse, Cafe Roubaix in Queen Street, Bendigo Ice Creamery and Lady Sultan Turkish Take-Away in Hargreaves Street.
Mr McPhail said it was not suprising to see a number of businesses on the market.
"There's always a couple up for sale," he said. "I think COVID has made people realise or reassess what they are doing or what's important to them.
"A lot of (restaurants) weren't able to switch to takeaway as easily as we did. Everyone has found it tough in the last two-and-a-half years."
