There's also the fight for the AVSL premiership in which Eaglehawk has starred in premier division to be third in a competition led by Essendon and Diamond Valley.
Bendigo Harriers and South Bendigo will be desperate for points in division two.

A talented field in the first of the women's 200m heats includes Eaglehawk's Laura Kadri, Andrea Archibald and Jorja Morrison; and Bendigo Harriers' Caitlin Evans.
Eight heats of the 800m will be run.

High jump star Liam Shadbolt from Bendigo Harriers is in the first flight and will be determined to soar above the 2m mark again.
