Junior cyclists overcame hot conditions to complete some sizzling performances in Wednesday's Christmas Carnival at the Tom Flood Spors Centre.
Bendigo and District Cycling Club members rode strongly in the feature junior wheelraces.
Corey Larson rode superbly to win the 1300m under-16 wheelrace final.
Cadence Benjamin also had a day to remember when she won the 600m under-11 wheelrace final.
In the under-17 girls 1600m wheelrace final, Bendigo's Lilyth Jones rode strongly to finish second.
Oscar Stoltz finished second in the under-15 boys wheelrace final, while Madeline Douglas was third in the under-15 girls wheelrace final.
Aside from the feature wheelrace finals, Bendigo cyclists also performed strongly in the support events, including Hope Harnetty's victory in the under-17B girls point race.
"The Bendigo juniors have been dominating,'' Bendigo and District Cycling Club's Noel Sens said. "In one event we had the first five riders across the line."
Many Bendigo junior riders will travel to Shepparton on Thursday for the final day of the Christmas Carnival series.
