Paramedics are taking two people to hospital after crash in Kangaroo Flat this afternoon.
Police officers at the scene believe the driver of a red sedan that was turning right onto Furness Street failed to give way.
Her car hit a white sedan driving north on High Street, towards Bendigo.
The woman was trapped in her car for about 10 minutes because of a light pole that blocked her exit.
Police say both drivers sustained minor injuries.
No roads are closed but traffic has banked up and is moving slower than usual.

EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a multi-car crash on High Street in Kangaroo Flat, at the intersection with Furness Street.
Firefighters have just removed removed a woman from the driver's seat a sedan that has hit a light pole.
The woman has been able to walk from the crash, after she was mechanically trapped.
Paramedics are assessing at least one man who is conscious and breathing.
Police are also on scene.
