The Borough's solid 12-shot win over Inglewood, combined with Kangaroo Flat's shock loss to Golden Square, saw the Hawks soar into top spot.

Kangaroo Flat slipped to second place, while Golden Square closed to within two points behind the Roos in third spot.

Bendigo scored an important 80-62 win over the previously in-form White Hills to leapfrog its rival into fourth place.

Bendigo east stayed in touch with the top four by defeating Castlemaine by 22 shots.
