Just two weeks after he broke the Victorian under-15 record for 3000m, South Bendigo young gun Logan Tickell competed in the D-grade 1500m.
A big night for the Tickell family included Logan's time of 4:11.30 to be fifth in the male D-grade race as younger sister, Chelsea ran 5:04.11 to be third in the women's D-grade showdown.
The talented siblings compete for South Bendigo Athletics Club.
The in-form Harrison Boyd from Bendigo Harriers clocked a time of 4:00.27 to be third in the C-grade men's 1500m.

University's Tullie Rowe was ninth in the B-grade women's 1500m in 4:53.50 as clubmate Phoebe Lonsdale ran 5:22.19 to be 14th in the women's C-grade 1500m.
Uni Pride was also represented in 1500m races by Angus Macafee, 4:12.09, 9th in D-grade; Billy Meade, 4:21.14, 2nd in F-grade; and Avery McDerdmid, 4:37.62, first in I-grade.
The 800m contests included University's Nathan Crowley clocked 1:59.80 to be fourth in men's C-grade.
Harriers' clubmates Brett Gilligan, 2:09.67, and Lucas Matthews, 2:16.17, were fourth and seventh across G-grade and H-grade.
