SEVEN new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Greater Bendigo.
The new cases - which were recorded in the 3551, 3550, and 3523 postcodes - brings the total number of active cases in the region to 59.

There were also six new COVID-19 cases recorded in the Macedon Ranges Shire and three new cases in the Campaspe Shire.
Mount Alexander recorded a single new case, while there were zero new infections in the Loddon, Gannawarra, and Central Goldfields shires.

Victoria has seen another 1,622 new COVID-19 cases overnight, taking the state's active cases to 12,252.
Sadly, nine people died with coronavirus.

There was 10,816 vaccinations administered at state-run clinics yesterday which means 92 per cent of Victorians aged 12 and over have been fully vaccinated for coronavirus.
Another 384 Victorians are in the hospital, 87 are in ICU and 49 are on ventilators.
There were more than 80,841 test conducted in the last 24 hours.
NSW also recorded a steep jump in cases with the state recording 1,742 cases.
As of Wednesday, the Greater Bendigo region recorded four new cases, taking the total number of active cases to 59.
It comes as Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton warned the state will see a "significant increase" in Omicron infections, as he pointed to the case spike in NSW and widespread infections in Europe.
A positive Omicron case visited Sircuit Bar in Fitzroy between 9pm and midnight and Collingwood's The Peel Hotel from 11.30pm to 3am, with about 700 people who also attended the venues now deemed close contacts.
Changes to COVID-19 restrictions will commence today after Minister for Health Martin Foley signed new pandemic orders under the new Public Health and Wellbeing Act.
