The first round of the Emu Valley Cricket Association Twenty20 season will be played on Tuesday night.
In pool one, United hosts Marong at Ewing Park, while reigning T20 premier Sedgwick tackles Mandurang at Club Court. Emu Creek has the bye.
In pool two, West Bendigo is at home to Axe Creek and Spring Gully travels to California Gully.
Clubs are allowed to utilise marquee players. Among the confirmed marquee players for round one are Bendigo all-rounder Kyle Humphrys (Axe Creek), Ryan Grundy (Sedgwick) and Bendigo United's Zane Keighran (Mandurang).
Emu Creek has the bye this week, but it is expected to use Huntly-North Epsom all-rounder Adam Ward as its marquee player when the club plays its first game next Tuesday against United.
The home and away season runs for two Tuesdays before Christmas and three Tuesdays from January 18. Semi-finals and the grand final will be held on February 8 and 15. All games start at 5.30pm.
